Why Soft Skills Training?

Soft skills are defined as, “Personal attributes that enable someone to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people.”

For far too long the process of hiring employees has been based largely on skills, credentials, and accomplishments. Today we are learning that hiring people with strong soft skills, and less hard skills, actually leads to better employees and more innovation through collaboration.

The now fifteen-year Gallup study is showing us that the majority of workers worldwide (87%) are not engaged in their work, and the cost of this level of disengagement to their employers is huge.

Managers and leaders with strong soft skills are building teams of more highly engaged and innovative people, which means greater financial performance and a stronger brand.

Never before has it been more vital for workers of all levels of skill and leadership to strengthen their soft skills.

We offer curriculum and experiential processes on the following topics:

  • Developing empathy
  • Discovering the energy beneath our words
  • Intuitive communication
  • Channeling anger in a positive way
  • Deepening listening skills
  • Practicing the art of non-interruption
  • Giving positive impressions
  • Showing appreciation
  • Being positive

Our programs are flexible to the organization. We provide two-hour, four-hour, and day-long workshops, as well as workshop series in which we can delve deeper into the process of strengthening soft skills.
