The Process of Culture Shift

The process of culture shift is non-linear in that it is ongoing, continuously evolving, and never ending. Yet there is a process—that may appear only as linear as our minds may grasp—in the form of a progression of one step to another, and then another, and so on. In truth, these steps are in a circle, as in the “sacred hoop” that so many indigenous peoples speak about—the circle of all life representing the interconnected nature of all things.

So we present this process with a linear graphic, and also as a circle graphic, so that we may understand our starting, middle, and end point—and also understand that the end point leads us back to begin again in an ever evolving cultural dynamic.
