Heart And Mind

Glenn Geffcken

Glenn Geffcken

Partner / Author

It’s been said that the longest journey is the eighteen inches from the head to the heart. Glenn Geffcken spent many years immersed in the corporate world developing his mind, and as he came to rely increasingly more on his mind he found his intuition and creativity diminishing. What’s more, he found he wasn’t finding any fulfillment doing the work that he used to be so passionate about. The answer he found, was to journey into the heart.

The Heart & Mind blog is about bridging the gap between the heart and the mind in work and life. In particular, it’s about relating to the importance of heart-based leadership, which leads to greater intuition, innovation, stronger culture and personal fulfillment.

Transcending Single Stories

Maria Rueda

Maria Rueda

Partner / Author

Maria Rueda has spent the majority of her adult life in pursuit of spiritual understandings and personal growth, and yet, up until the fall of 2014 there was a missing piece. The missing piece, she found, came with an awakening of stories she had adopted about herself that were continuing to keep her feeling small. These were stories that had become so engrained that they felt real, even though they were false.

The Transcending Single Stories blog provides insights and inspirations about the stories that keep us stuck and how to transcend them to move beyond the limitations we’ve placed on ourselves. Maria shares personal experiences of how she became aware of her own limiting stories and how she has and continues to transcend them to find greater freedom and empowerment.

Where Do I Begin?

Where do I begin? I sit here, fingers on keyboard asking for guidance as to what to write. It has been nearly two months since my last blog, “Everything Is Changing, All At Once,” and I’ve struggled to find the words to express what I’ve been experiencing as the dust...
