Today is a day like any other. Or is it?
What if today was the most extraordinary day of our lives? If so, how would we greet the sun? Our neighbor? Our spouse? Our coworkers? Our business partners? Our customers?
Would it be business as usual, or would it be with an infectious enthusiasm for the moment and the day at hand?
What are the determining factors that arrange our attitude towards the day, each day, which engenders our spirit, our enthusiasm and passion for life’s work?
Some would point to external factors: the stock market, the election results, the economy, office politics, the mood of their spouse, and so on. Others would point to all those things they feel grateful for in life. And still others would simply choose.
What if we simply decided, through the power of free will and personal choice, that today is the most extraordinary day of our lives?
Good morning!
Glenn, thank you for the morning greeting and the wonderful reminder that everyday can be extraordinary if I choose it to be. I’ve heard it said that it is a precious privilege to be alive – to think, to breathe, to enjoy, to love.
